Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) affects how the brain interprets and makes sense of what the ears hear, often leading to difficulties understanding speech, particularly in noisy environments, following verbal instructions, or keeping up with conversations.
1 hour – 1 hour 30 mins A comprehensive assessment is personal to you. This assessment includes Pure Tone Audiometry plus additional tests (for example: speech, speech in noise, noise in noise and tests for cochlear dead regions) based on your medical and lifestyle information. This allows us to better understand your difficulties and allows for accurate hearing solution recommendations.
